Please pick up a copy today and join us in united prayer.
- Children’s Message Volunteers Needed: Each week Fairfield seeks to offer a short children’s message in the service. We rely on volunteers to provide these timely messages. If you would like to volunteer to teach a children’s message, the sign-up sheet for 2025 is available on the bulletin board in the hallway.
- Phonetree: Fairfield has a phone messaging service that we use to send announcements and reminders to the congregation. If you would like to receive these messages, please contact Pastor Billy.
- Ushers: Anyone interested in volunteering as an usher (in either service) is invited to contact Greg Sunday to sign up.
- Lakewood Care Team: A team of volunteers visits Lakewood Care Center on Optimist Club Rd. in Denver once a month to deliver gifts and visit with the residents. Anyone interested is invited to contact Scottie Barker. You may also make a donation to support this ministry by earmarking your separate contribution “Lakewood Care.”
- Online Giving Available: For those who wish to give to the church electronically, you may visit our website (fairfieldmethodist.org) and click on the “Online Giving” tab. Thank you for your prayerful and generous support to Fairfield as we seek to share the good news of Jesus Christ with a lost and hurting world.
SCRIPTURE – NIV |
Prayer Starter |
|
SUN |
Numbers 6:24-26 – “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” |
Lord, thank You for your blessings on my life every day. |
MON |
I Corinthians 13:13 - And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. |
Father, I strive to live by your WORD. As long as I have faith in You, Hope for a future with You, and Love for my fellow man, I will be in your will. |
TUE |
Proverbs 2:6 - For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. |
Lord, I acknowledge that you are supreme in wisdom. I am nothing without you. Please give me wisdom and understanding to know your will for my life. |
WED |
Isaiah 12:4 - In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted”. |
My Holy Father, I give you all the praise for the blessings you have bestowed upon me. I know, Lord, that I am nothing without you. Praise be to You, my redeemer. |
THU |
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. |
Father, God, knowing the sacrifice you made by sacrificing Jesus for our sins, is incomprehensible in my life. I can only offer myself to you, in sacrifice to serving you and doing your will. |
FRI |
Romans 12:2 - Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. |
Lord, we live in a world that wants us to conform to its ways. It is so easy to go with worldly ways, even when we know it is wrong. Please give me strength to reject the worldly ways, and only follow Your ways. |
SAT |
Ephesians 2:4-5 - But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. |
Father, You have saved me, when I was so undeserving. What love you have shown me when I am not worthy of your sacrifice. Help me Lord, to also show love and forgiveness to others. |
