Prayer Starter

SUN

Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Help me turn from my love of myself to loving You. Forgive me for my sins and please do not take the Holy Spirit from me.

MON

Ephesians 5:19b-20 – Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, You are worthy of continual praise and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for all you have done to save us from sin and death.

TUES

Philippians 3:14 - I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward to Christ Jesus.

Father, I am so grateful to be Your child.  Help me press on to complete the goal of my calling.  May I always believe in You and Christ Jesus.  I look forward to going home whenever You call.

WED

Daniel 4:35 - …..He does as He pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth.  No one can hold back his hand or say to him:  What have you done?”

Lord, it seems the events in our days are straight from the bible.  We know we can’t change or doubt Your plan for us, our family, our country or this earth.  Help us have faith that you will get us through and help us not worry as this is Your plan for our time.  In the name of Jesus, Amen

THUR

Romans 12:15 – Rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn.

Lord, help me see where I can reach out to those suffering a loss whether it is the loss of a person, a pet, a job, a home or the loss of their faith.  Help them through their grief.  Help restore them so they might eventually rejoice.

FRI

Deuteronomy 6:6,7a – These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.   Impress them on your children.

Lord Jesus, help us live our life so our children can see how to live theirs.   Let their hearts be steadfast so they are not swayed by evil.  Let us help them build a strong foundation.

SAT

James 1:6-7 – But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Lord, I do believe but sometimes I doubt.  Help take away my disbelief.  Help me praise You when You say ‘Yes’.  Help me accept and respect You when You say ‘No’.
