- Super Bowl LX Challenge Results: Thank you for the incredible support in our Superbowl Clothing Drive Challenge. Our goal was to collect 60 packages of men’s underwear, undershirts, sweatshirts and waterproof gloves for our neighbors in the “Room in the Inn” program at New Covenant Church. Thanks to your generous support, we once again far-exceeded our goal and were able to collect 247 items to share with our neighbors. - Men’s Chorus: The Men’s Chorus will practice this afternoon at 3:00pm. New members are always welcome.
- Community Prayer Meeting: The community-wide Revival Prayer Meeting hosted by Fairfield will be held tomorrow beginning at 8:30am. Join us to pray for revival and awakening in Denver.
- Bible Study: Join us for our Bible Study on the book of Daniel each Monday. Two sessions are offered for your convenience: one at 9:30am and a second at 6:00pm. No special materials are needed for the study beyond your favorite Bible. Please invite a friend and join us as we study God’s Word together. Tomorrow’s discussion will focus on chapter 4.
- Weekly Prayer Meeting: Join us for a weekly prayer meeting each Monday at 11:00am. We’ll pray for the church, our community, our nation and the world.
- Weekly Men’s Breakfast: All men of the church are invited to gather each Wednesday at 9:00am for breakfast and fellowship at a local restaurant. If you’d like to join the group–even occasionally–and wish to receive weekly text reminders of time and location, please contact Tim Sweeney.
- Choir practice: The choir will practice this Wednesday at 6:00pm. New members are always welcome.
- Supper Club: The Supper Club will meet this Thursday, March 5, at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall. The Supper Club is a gathering of those interested in sharing a meal and an evening of fellowship together. Our theme this month is Italian night. Please RSVP to Anita Sweeney. She can also let you know which items are needed. In addition to Italian dishes, we will need salad, drinks, bread and desserts. Hope to see you there for great food and fellowship!
- Changing Clocks: Remember to run your clocks ahead one hour this Saturday night, March 7, as Daylight Savings Time begins next Sunday.
- Methodist Men: The Methodist Men will meet next Sunday, March 8, at 7:30am. Breakfast will be served at 7:30am, followed by a devotion and discussion.
- Pastor-Parish Relations Team: The PPR will meet next Sunday, March 8, at 4:00pm.Family Life Team: The Family Life Team will meet on Thursday, March 12, at 6:00pm.
- Faith Sharing Study: On March 29 (Palm Sunday), we will begin a new church-wide study on the principles and methods of how to share our faith with others. Sunday School classes are asked to join us in this study. To facilitate our discussion, we will be using the book Share Jesus Without Fear by William Fay. Everyone is encouraged to read the book. Copies will be available for $8.50/each. If you would like to purchase one through the church, please sign up on the signup sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway by March 8.
- Donation Information Cards: A donation information card is in the pew card holders offering some of the ways you can donate to the church. For additional information, please see the church website.
