Welcome

The Book of Daniel

Daniel is one of the most fascinating books in the Bible. It contains stories we remember from childhood Sunday School lessons such as Daniel in the lions’ den or his three friends who were thrown in the fiery furnace. (Spoiler alert in case you haven’t read the stories, Daniel and his friends all come out unscathed.)

But the book of Daniel is so much more than this. It’s the story of a principled young man who is unwilling to compromise his beliefs to suit a powerful king even at the risk of his own life.

Daniel is also a peek into the future – both the immediate future of a king he served, the future of the middle east over 100’s of years, and possibly even our future today.

The book of Daniel is complicated and there are a myriad of different interpretations. Join us as we dive into this amazing book. We’ll meet every Monday starting on January 26th. We have two different meeting times: 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. It’s not required but it’s helpful to read ahead before the study period. Typically, we study one chapter per week but occasionally to go faster or slower depending on content and discussion.

If you join us for the morning study, stick around for our weekly prayer meeting starting at 11:00 a.m.
